This site started as a brain extension. I needed a place to gather all the good ideas I got, or stubled upon…. or stole ….. with pride.
Putting my ideas in blog-form, instead of on paper or post-it notes, provides several benefits. I can access and add to the brain extension from where ever I am. A blog also gives you the opportunity to comment and thereby improve the result and I value these comments a lot, as long as they are constructive, spam- + SEO-free and within the area of marketing.
The initial idea was to make this a bilingual blog, but after a couple of month blogging on both Danish and English, I have come to the following conclusions:
While it is quick and easy to jot an idea down in this fine freeware CMS (WordPress), I find it increasingly difficult to find the time to get the ideas translated. Eventhough I am as danish as Søren Kierkegaard, The little Mermaid and “Rødgrød med Fløde”, I apparently get most of my ideas in english, so the danish part of this blog was pretty sad.
Traffic analysis showed that most of my visitors came from english speaking contries. Excluding visit by myself, the danish visits very few and far between, so this ended up as a marketing blog in english.
